Many veterans return home carrying memories that are hard to hold. Some memories bring fear, worry, or sadness. These experiences can make everyday life tricky.
At Eterne Wellness, we know this can feel heavy. We are proudly helping veterans and their families through the Veterans Community Care Program.
Our team provides safe and efficient care for PTSD, and we aim to ensure the way to recovery is a stress-free and easy one.
Eterne Wellness and the Veterans Community Care Program
Eterne Wellness is part of the Veterans Community Care Program, also called VCCP. This means veterans can receive treatment with us using their VA benefits. We also accept Tricare and TriWest.
Veterans who want care at Eterne Wellness do not need to feel lost or unsure about where to start. All they need to do is ask their VA Case Manager for a referral to Eterne Wellness.
VA Case Managers can refer veterans through the VCCP for several reasons, such as:
- The veteran needs care sooner than the VA clinic can provide
- The veteran needs a treatment that the local VA clinic does not offer
- The veteran lives too far from a VA clinic
- The veteran has special needs that require a peaceful or personalized care setting
Because we are part of the VCCP, veterans can receive advanced PTSD treatments at Eterne Wellness with less waiting and more support.
Why PTSD Care Matters for Veterans
PTSD can happen after a scary or painful event. Many veterans have lived through combat, loss, injury, or other stressful experiences.
PTSD can lead to nightmares, panic, jumpiness, sadness, anger, or sleep problems. Several veterans are lonely or numb as well.
PTSD does not mean that one is weak. It means that the mind is still in the process of self-defense, even many years after the threat has disappeared.
At Eterne Wellness, we see the strength in every veteran who reaches out for help. Healing is possible with the right care.
Treatments for PTSD at Eterne Wellness
Veterans deserve unique healing paths. Eterne Wellness offers personalized care to calm the body, support the brain, and restore hope.
- Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy gives veterans a protected setting to communicate their sentiments. Our counselors pay attention and assist them in achieving insight and resilience techniques.
Veterans learn to manage triggers, reduce stress, and think positively in treatment. Being recognized and interpreted assists them and their families in feeling more at ease.
- Spravato (Esketamine)
Spravato is a modern treatment for PTSD, depression, and severe sadness. It is administered as a nasal spray by a doctor. The mechanism of action of Spravato is that it assists the brain in building new connections, which are healthier.
For many veterans, Spravato is a relief after other treatments have not been effective enough. It is safe and fast-acting and, therefore, a good option for those who feel stuck.
- TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)
TMS uses soft magnetic pulses to activate brain regions that affect mood and stress, helping veterans feel relaxed.
TMS has the potential to decrease the effects of PTSD, depression and anxiety. It can be useful in the case of veterans who have already tried medication without any benefit, or who prefer a treatment without daily pills.
- Support for Families
PTSD can affect not only the veteran but also the people who love them. At Eterne Wellness, we support families, too.
We help families by:
- Learning about PTSD
- Understanding what their loved one is going through
- Building ways to stay connected and supportive
Families are important partners in healing.

How to Start Treatment through the Veterans Community Care Program
Getting help through the VCCP is easy. Veterans need to speak with their VA Case Manager and request a referral to Eterne Wellness.
Approval is given to many veterans since the program is designed to facilitate care faster and more easily. After the referral is forwarded, our team gets in touch with the veteran to set up their premier visit.
We guide veterans through the entire process to ensure that they do not feel lonely or lost.
